Similarities and Songs

Hello there! So, I've been going through PJO/HOO fan art, and a few things have come to my attention. I'll keep this short, because it's getting late and I want to finish Goblet of Fire soon. But, I must blog, and I must point out:

Similarities. I don't know if it's obvious or not... I'm not a good judge at that sort of thing... Because it took me a while to catch onto this, but sometimes I catch on right away and sometimes I don't. But you probably want to know what I'm talking about, don't you? Okay, has anyone else noticed the remarkable similarities between Harry Potter and Percy Jackson?
1. Messy black/dark brown hair(My friend constantly corrects me when I say black, because black hair does not happen naturally and when it looks black it is just very dark brown.)
2. Green eyes (*fangirl squeals*)
3. Lives ruined by prophecies (make for a pretty good story for us though, right?)
4. Both have awesome powers and are amazing at being what they are (Harry is a great wizard, Percy is a superpowerful demigod)
5. There are very similar statements in the Percy Jackson/Harry Potter books. HP: "'I don't go looking for trouble. Trouble usually finds me'" PJO: "I won't go looking for trouble. I usually don't have to." They attract trouble because of their stature in their respective worlds (The Boy Who Lived/Only son of Poseidon) EDIT: I'm not sure I attributed the quotes to their proper speakers. In fact I'm almost positive they are wrong. So if they are, just swap PJO for HP, and if not, then yay, I was right all along.
6. Troublemakers/Rule breakers. They do attract trouble but... Percy Jackson is labeled a troublemaker by all his teachers, and has a history of disrespect toward the Olympians, causing him more trouble than he otherwise would have had. Harry Potter breaks the rules routinely in the books. *cough* Invisibility cloak *cough* Marauder's Map *cough* He sneaks out a lot and gets into a good deal of trouble for it.
7. Fabulous at respective sports. PJ: Capture the Flag HP: (need I even say it?) Quidditch
8. BLIND. Not really... But they are blind socially. It took them both forever to figure out who they were supposed to be with, girlwise. So maybe not blind, but thickheaded.
9. Redheaded best friend. Ron Weasley and Grover Underwood, take a bow. (I've seen online that Grover's hair is brown, but in the official picture it looks red so that's what I'm going with.)
10. Brainy other best friend. Hermione and Annabeth receive honors. Annabeth ends up being a little more than a friend, but... They were friends first.
11. Smart, nice, father-ish figure. Dumbledore and Chiron, that would be you.
12. Irritating adult that doesn't like them and threatens them regularly. Snape (threatens with expulsion) and Dionysus (threatens with transformation into a dolphin)
13. Magical cleaning peoples. HP: House elves. PJO: Harpies

Okay, well that's all I can think of right now... And I imagine you got kind of bored, as that was a rather long list, sorry... Oh well, I like lists. Now onto...

Songs. Has anyone hear heard the song "Lucky" by Jason Mraz feat. Colbie Caillat? I think that might be one of the best songs for Percabeth I can find. I will share many ship songs along the course of my blogdom so... Yes. Just click on the link right above and enjoy the song. Think of its Percabeth implications. Like it. Love it. It is wonderful.  And the link will take you to a different tab so good.

That was a bit longer than I expected it to be. Thank you for reading. See you soon!

Good luck in life, happy watching, happy reading!
