The Thrill Factor/Sleepover Seven

Hello loyal readers! How are you upon this fine evening? I am quite well thank you. I am, in fact, reading the final, wonderful Harry Potter book at the moment. Frankly, though, I'm rather scared to get to the battle scene. So many people are dead already! (I would like to add Alastor Moody to the list of deaths that I am not okay with.) But I love the book. I can't put it down. And was I the only person who got this huge thrill at the wedding near the beginning when Kingsley's Patronus shows up? And it wasn't  the fact that the Patronus was there, or that the golden trio was about to start another adventure. It was the words. "The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming." "They are coming." It's just so ominous, so thrilling, I can't even... I have the page bookmarked and everything. It's something that I have named The Thrill Factor. That thing where you read a sentence, or a phrase, or a paragraph, and it just makes you really excited for no apparent reason. Like in music when someone hits a chord and your spine kind of shivers. That's what I'm talking about, but in books! It's beautiful, that these symbols, these words, phrases, sentences, can make you feel. Someone decided to give the strange symbols we call letters meaning and they are able to twist your emotion, when placed in the correct pattern. It's wonderful and beautiful and absolute nonsense and I love it.

On a completely different note... One of my friends is sleeping over tomorrow night, and that scenario inspired a thought. Upon the Argo II, do you think the girls (Hazel, Piper, and Annabeth) have nights where they all do the graveyard shift of watch duty together, and they talk and laugh and give each other boy advice? Because that would be awesome. I want a short story about that, Rick. Thanks! :) I've seen a lot of fan art of the Seven having a sleepover all together, and I think that is fabulous. I can picture it too... After the war is over, Piper (because she's the daughter of Aphrodite) calls everyone up and they all go to her dad's mansion and have tons of fun and whatnot, and Percy shoots water across the room for people to catch in their mouths and Piper charmspeaks people into doing embarrassing things when they play Truth or Dare, and Jason shorts out the wiring in the room they are in and makes thunder while they tell ghost stories, and Annabeth comes up with the best ones because she is a genius, and Leo makes Jiffy Pop with his fire powers, and Hazel finds precious metal and makes them all bracelets and makes creepy stuff with the Mist and Frank pretends to go to the bathroom and then turns into a spider and sneaks back into the room to scare the crud out of Annabeth. That was a huge run-on sentence, but oh well, I am imagining now, I can't be bothered by grammar. I like my scenario, and I may just write that as a story... I won't post it here, but I will post it on my PJO/HOO fandom blog when/if I make it.

Thank you for reading what was, again, a bunch if ramble, though hopefully entertaining ramble... I apologize for the lack of color and font... I am posting from my iPad today and it doesn't let me make it pretty. That was a much longer post than I intended it to be... Anyway,

Good luck in life, happy watching, happy reading!
