Okay. So how is everyone? Good? Good. Because we have some important things to discuss.
FIRST. First. It has come to my attention that apparently (rather large spoiler alert I suppose) the two crossover short stories Rick Riordan has written - Percy Jackson/Carter Cane and Annabeth Chase/Sadie Kane - take place after the Giant War. After the Prophecy of the Seven. So this means that my theory (in my Valentine's Day ship post) was - *gasp* - wrong. Because Percy is not a god in Sun of Sobek, and I haven't read Staff of Serapis yet - it doesn't come out until Tuesday and I just - but Annabeth - at least in the summary - seems fairly demigodish. And neither of them seems dead or anything - there's nothing to suggest that they are ghosts - so my theory was indeed wrong. Oops. Oh well. So the question remains, as Uncle Rick has so heart-wrenchingly promised us at least one death, who is going to die?
GUYS YOU NEED TO TELL ME HOW YOU ARE HANDLING WAITING UNTIL OCTOBER. I AM JUST SLOWLY GOING CRAZY AND READING FAN FICTION. HELP. No, I'm okay, really. I just have this thing about waiting. I'm not patient. Like, at all. So wish me luck.
SECOND. Second. How do we feel about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them? I know that we've known for a bit that it's coming out, but how do we feel about this upcoming trilogy? I have to say, I'm pretty excited. J.K. Rowling is indeed doing the screenwriting, and it starts off in New York, apparently. I just can't believe we have to wait until 2016. Again, with the waiting thing. But, until then, I am just reading other books because there's nothing else I can do about it, other than reading more and more fan fiction - good pieces of which, by the way, are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
Anyway, I wish you luck in your distraction from the wait for new content - I need good luck too.
Good luck in life, happy watching, happy reading!
